Inside the App

Every feature in WithYou exists to make it easier to walk with someone. Here's what's inside.

Inside every conversation

Tools that live in the chat

Pathways, voice notes, and structure that sit right inside the conversation — so things keep moving without you having to force it.

Inside any conversation, the drawer shows every step — where you are, what's next, what's done. Tap a step and it drops into the chat. The pathway lives inside the conversation, not separate from it.
A collection of pathways connected by a theme — weeks of a Bible study, aspects of a teaching, a series. When you're walking through one, related pathways surface automatically.
Browse pathways by topic. Save favourites. Track progress across conversations. Share any pathway by link or through another messaging app. Preview the full pathway before starting.
For in-person conversations. If you're leading a Bible study, praying with someone, or talking face to face, you need the whole guide in front of you — not step-by-step chat.
Audio messages in every conversation. Say what you mean without typing it out.
A quick visual under each chat showing which conversations are moving through pathways and which are ordinary messaging. Chats with no step activity for 30 days expire automatically — and can be reactivated anytime.

What is fear, really? Take a moment before answering.
Psalm 34:4 — "I sought the Lord…"
What does it mean that God delivered him from his fears?
Day 3 · Naming it

Privacy and safety

Invitation-only relationships. The only people there are the ones you invited or who invited you. The app feels like your own space, not a public platform.

No one can scrape contact information, reach in from the outside, or start contacting others unless there's a real invitation path between them. That matters for privacy, safety, and peace of mind in every context — especially sensitive ones.
Email exists only as a backup in case someone switches phones or loses a device. It's not used as social identity, not shown publicly, not shared, and barely surfaces inside the app at all.
Important where privacy matters or where someone isn't ready to share their full identity yet. Because there's no exposed contact graph behind it, pseudonyms stay much safer than in most other systems.
If you have no contacts, you see no one. The app feels local, intimate, and dedicated to the people you actually know — not a public network.
Hide all activity for 24 hours. The app shows only pathways and the Bible — like a personal devotional app. Chat history reappears when the time is up. Valuable in sensitive countries or difficult situations.
People connected by code who you don't know yet show with a dotted circle. It protects outreach, protects group members, and makes first contact safer.
A necessary safety tool if someone becomes inappropriate or unwanted.

Groups

Safe rooms, your rules

Group chat in WithYou is invitation-only. You control who's there, how long the door stays open, and how much people see of each other.

The admin sets how long the door stays open — 10 minutes to 24 hours. Especially important when codes are shared publicly. After that, no one new can join.
Begin on another messaging app when someone can't download WithYou yet. They receive pathways and respond. If they move to WithYou later, the history stays intact.
Manage attention without losing relationships or leaving a group.
Introduce people through trusted relationships. Discovery stays relational, not open.

Simple to join

Join with a 4-digit code. Easy to say out loud, easy to copy, easy to remember. Share invitations by link, QR, or typed code — whatever works.

Enter a code and you're in. An account is only needed to create a Page or manage a group.
Begin on WhatsApp, Signal, or any other app. Move to WithYou when trust or need makes it worthwhile. The conversation comes with you.
Set a display name, add a photo, write a short "about" line. Just enough identity for the context. Create an account to save contacts and pathways across devices.
